The Sony Ericsson S500i is the little brother to the Sony Ericsson W580i. Those who have already peeked at our review on the latter can easily check Introduction, Applications section and Conclusion, scrolling through everything else, since the phones are really resembling. The foremost difference of the S500i, compared to the senior model is, to some extent, design (different color schemes), retail package (no memory card, conventional headset). But taking this model as a downgraded edition of the W580i without motion sensor, and consequently sporty applications shoved off, wouldn’t be the right thing. By the way, the S500i also comes without TrackID feature, radio and player version 2.0
