LG to launch its full touchscreen handset 'Dare' via Verizon
SEOUL, Korea (AVING) -- LG Electronics today launched its newest full touchscreen handset 'Dare(model:LG-VX9700)' in US market via Verizon.
Adopting a 3-inch full touchscreen with a new finger-friendly touch UI software installed, the Dare allows you to flick through the qwerty keyboard in a virtual pad and offers a drag and drop for accessing your favorite contacts.
The LG Dare supports Verizon's high-speed EV-DO 3G network in addition to the V CAST Music and VZ Navigator services. Also, on-board photo editing tools allow you to have fun with your photos, and the handset also allows for quick uploading of photos to popular social networking sites.
Other features of the Dare phone included a 3.2M built-in camera supporting a video recording at 120 fps, full browsing view, Bluetooth 2.1, navigation function, external memory slot expanding up to 8GB capacity, voice call and more.
