UMPC maker OQO announced its latest model, the OQO E2 which has HSDPA capability. However, the HSDPA capability of the OQO E2 is only compatible with networks in Europe and Asia as it runs on UMTS/HSDPA 2100 MHz and GPRS/EDGE 900 MHz and 1800 Mhz networks. Because of this, the OQO E2 is not available in the United States.
The OQO E2 has a 1.6 GHz VIA C7M processor, VIA VX700 graphics card, 120GB hard disk drive, and 1GB DDR2 memory. A 5 inch widescreen LCD is on this OQO E2 and the device only weighs .5 KG.
Connectivity options on the OQO E2 includes integrated Bluetooth, embeded mobile broadband access, and built-in 802.11 a/b/g WLAN. The OQO E2 can run the full version of Windows Vista, making this device the Ultimate Portable PC.

Nokia's 3G HSDPA handset 'N96' brings movies to America
Nokia today announced that the highly anticipated Nokia N96 will be made available for high-speed 3G HSDPA networks widely used in the Americas during the fourth quarter of 2008.
Combining a large 2.8-inch screen, 16GB of internal memory and compatibility with a wide range of video formats, the Nokia N96 is a sleek, smart and powerful device that delivers an outstanding entertainment experience.
Support for popular video download services, including those using Windows Media format, means that Nokia N96 owners can easily explore, purchase and download their favorite movies, television shows and other video content on their PCs and sideload them to their devices to watch at their convenience.
The internal 16 gigabytes of memory, and expandable memory card slot, allows up to 40 hours of video content to be stored on the Nokia N96. Other features included a 5M camera with Carl Zeiss optics, integrated Wi-Fi support and assisted-GPS navigation.
The Nokia N96 with Americas 3G support is expected to be available during the fourth quarter of 2008 for an estimated price of 895(USD).

Nokia unveils two new XpressMusic devices
Nokia, Espoo - Nokia today introduced two new music-enabled devices as additions to its XpressMusic range. The new Nokia 5320 XpressMusic and Nokia 5220 XpressMusic offer a range of affordable music and entertainment experiences with the most fresh, stylish designs on the market. Both music devices are expected to begin shipping in the third quarter of 2008, with an expected retail price range of 160 to 220 EUR, before taxes and subsidies.

HTC is going to release its 3D touch smartphone Touch Diamond and Touch Pro in the United States through Sprint in this month.
