Nokia 7500 prism

In this high-tech world, mobile phones are no longer considered as a luxury; they have become the most important gadget for our daily life. Moreover, the latest mobile phones are no more restricted to communication, as innovative handsets uniquely combine mobile applications with digitally advanced imaging technologies. Therefore, after scrolling the web for the latest Nokia mobile phones, I finally settled for the Nokia 7500 prism. The looks, vibrant casing and ergonomic diamond styled keypad were just too much a temptation to resist. After using for a month and half, I found it the idle handset for mid-range users that are looking for something different with everything.
Some of the best features that would catch anyone's attention are its multimedia capabilities and of course, the high-end connectivity features. The candy-bar-styled music oriented phone is equipped with an FM radio, visual radio and music player. The sound clarity of the music is vibrant. Apart from that, the Nokia 7500 Prism is enriched with a 2 megapixel camera that works well in horizontal mode and allows users to capture the image with ease and comfort, just like any standard digital camera.
The massive internal memory of 30 Mbytes can be upgraded via a micro SD card. The high-end connectivity features like Bluetooth, USB support, EDGE and HSCSD allows users to download files, video and images from the internet without worrying about the limited space. By charging my phone battery to full, the phone allows a talktime for consecutive 2.8 hours and 280 hours as stand-by time. Lastly, I would like to say that my experience of using the Nokia 7500 is good, as it is truly one of the best in the mid range mobile handsets.

DOPOD S300

The Dopod S300, also known as the HTC StrTrk, has been hovering around the Internet like a lost starship for months now and everyone has tried to guess when it's going to land in Asia. This RAZR-like clamshell phone has been creating quite a buzz due to its tech-friendly Star Trek name and thin form factor, but its specs leave us wondering whether it deserves such a stellar title.
It runs on Windows Mobile 5 and features quadband and EDGE support, Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel camera and 64MB ROM and 64MB RAM. They're not exactly borg-blowing specs, but it is thin for a Windows-based mobile, measuring 16mm deep and weighing 99g.
The nifty smart phone is also Push Mail-ready for on-the-fly email delivery and updates. That aside, users with an assortment of mailing accounts can leverage on the multiple email profile support which is compatible with popular free emailing providers such as Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail.
During the launch hosted in The Arts House, Singapore, Dopod revealed plans to grow the StrTrk series and hinted at the possibility of a 3G-compatible model expected in Q3 2006.
The Dopod S300 will be available in Singapore from June at S$798 (US$507.05). This will be followed-by an Asia-wide launch scheduled in one to two weeks' time. Our S300 test unit just got in, so we are currently running tests on it. Look out for our full review soon.

Samsung 760 Ted Baker And its Robust Features

The Samsung Ted Baker is available in a number of colour shades that make it quite attractive. This feature rich phone works on 3G networks and has 2 MP camera, a MP3 player and FM radio option. As it is, the Samsung handsets are famous for their contemporary designs. The 760 is one such model that is built as a result of a partnership between Samsung and Ted. The handset is available in colour shades of reef blue, rouge and coffee. I found all the three sets really fascinating when I last visited the Samsung showroom with my friend.
The 760 Ted Baker measures 100 x 47 x 15 mm. I found the colour screen with 176 x 220 pixels resolution capable of displaying videos and pictures in their original colours. The tri-band support ensures easy connectivity anywhere in the globe. The mobile has a camera, a FM radio and is Bluetooth compatible. It thus becomes possible to wirelessly transfer files from the phone to other devices. The device is very active in sharing files of all types such as music, video and audio with other compatible gadgets.
This light samsung mobile phone gives a standby time of 370 hrs and a talktime of 120 mins. The battery support of this camera phone make it quite compatible for listening to music and playing some amazing games. The Samsung 760 Ted Baker is 3G enabled and one can use it for picture messaging, and data transfer with GPRS. With this Samsung mobile, it also becomes possible for the users to enjoy FM radio programs of their choice as and when they want to.
Nokia N76 - Classy Phone Model

Nokia N76 has a strange resemblance to the Motorola RAZR series phones. It seems that the engineers found the RAZR so impressive that they could not help getting influenced by it. Nonetheless the Nokia N76 has some good features with it. The admirable points being, its 3.5mm headphone jack and its ergonomics that runs on robust Series 60 platform.
The Nokia N76 is a slim clamshell mobile phone. It comes with a mirror like finish and exudes a sensational feel about it. But the screen is smaller and quite a lot of space has been wasted at the sides. Music lovers, however, will love the quick-access multimedia playback buttons below the LCD. There is the ambient light sensor in the keypad which gets activated on moving into darker environments. There's also a customizable multimedia key which we can configure to access frequently used multimedia programs.
Nokia N76 has something that has raised many eyebrows. There is a 3.5mm slot is on the top edge. On one hand it is good that the headset connector does not protrude from the sides of the pocket, and on the other it restricts the handset from opening fully when it is plugged. Also, if you are using the 3.5 mm slot then you cannot receive call, without unplugging the headset. Though this situation can be avoided if you use bundled earpiece.
Apart from design, other features that makes this smartphone desirable are- quadband (GSM 850/900/1800/1900), 3G capability, mini-USB outlet for connecting to and synchronizing with Microsoft Outlook, 26MB of internal memory, multimedia player, 2-megapixel CMOS camera (with LED flash) etc. The Nokia N76 offers up to 2.75 hours of talktime and an estimated 8.5 days on standby.
Sony Ericsson K770i

The Sony Ericsson K770i is a mixture of technology and design. The widget is compatible with other devices and - thanks to the integration of expertise. Therefore, transferring files is easy with this high-end devices. The mobile phone can be used to send files to other devices with a pin-pointed accuracy using Bluetooth or USB ports. This gadget can work in 2G and 3G networks and is supported by GSM. That’s why my friends call access to the facilities offered by third generation networks, even if the Sony Ericsson K770i to distant lands. The TFT screen is known for his ability to play videos at a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Thus the games on this screen is also an alternative for the enjoyment and making merry. I also see beautiful people store pictures and wallpapers on screen. Add extra glamour to the handset. The memory device is sufficient to store images, videos and wallpapers. One can also store stamps, images and videos in the friolera memory of the phone. The card slot comes with 256 MB card included. In addition, the phone is supported by a battery that gives 400 hours of waiting time and 10 hours Talktime.
Photographs and videos captured with 3.15 MP camera of this mobile phone can be viewed at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The same camera can also be used for storing video files. The other entertainment options are the music player that can play songs in formats such as MP3, AAC and MPEG4. The device has a music track ID recognition. So you can find out the name of the album and artists from the track being played. This phone not only entertains people, but provides information about music that are played in it.
